    2006

Institute of Autism Spectrum Disorders was established as a private, non-profit institution. Our mission is a comprehensive care for people with autism and their families. We strive to develop diagnostic processes, therapeutic approaches and specific educational and social programs to fulfill the needs of people with autism and their families.

  • izobraževanja diagnostično-terapevtskega tima

    2006-2014

During this period of time we worked on education of diagnostic-therapeutic team, experts of different professional profiles and parents of children with autism. We organized eight international seminars and were included in three major EU funded projects.

  • Rodil se je Projekt ZORA

    January 2015

Project ZORA - More health for children and adolescents with autism and their families, funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, has begun. The main purpose of our project is to develop therapeutic and educational programs that reduce mental health inequality of children and adolescents with autism and offer much-needed help to their families. We strive to provide a variety of free of charge activities for children and adolescents from all over Slovenia and to best assist parents and professionals who work with them.

  • po koncu projekta

    April 2016

We believe the project represents a turning point of the social care of children and adolescents with autism and their parents. We therefore wish and hope the health, education and social policy in Slovenia will support our efforts to continue the program even after the official end of the project.
